Peter Royce Brownell (born 1969)[1] is an American businessman. He is the CEO of Brownells, Inc., a supplier of firearm accessories, ammunition and supplies based in Montezuma, Iowa,[2] and served as President of the National Rifle Association from May 2017[3] to May 2018.[4]

Brownell attended the University of Iowa, earning a BBA in Administration and Marketing in 1991 and an MBA in 2001.[1]

Brownell began working at Brownells in 1996, became vice president in 2000, president in 2008, and CEO in 2012.[1]
