The Phantom Cam is a high speed video camera used to create super-slow-motion video clips and is one of the Phantom line of High-speed digital cameras manufactured by Vision Research.[1]

The Phantom Cam has the ability to record up to 5,000 frames per second, compared to a standard slow-motion camera which records at 380 frames per second or less.

Fox Network uses the Phantom Cam to provide excellent slow-motion replays in live sports broadcasts. [2]

"Phantom" is a registered trade mark of Vision Research, Inc.
