Plevna is an unincorporated community in southeastern Knox County, Missouri, United States.[1] It is located about eighteen miles southeast of Edina on Route 15.

Plevna was platted in 1877.[2] According to author and name historian Robert Ramsay, the community is named after Plevna, Bulgaria,[3][4] site of a Russian victory at the Siege of Plevna during the Russo-Turkish War. A post office has been in operation at Plevna since 1877.[5]
