The Leeuwin class are two Australian-built survey vessels, which currently form part of the Royal Australian Navy. Both ships were built by NQEA in Cairns, Queensland, and entered service in 2000. The ships are equipped with advanced surveying technology, have a helicopter flight deck and hangar and carry three 9-tonne survey motor boats.
