How to add new articles

[edit]

The template used for the creation of these sub-pages is located at {{Selected article}}

  1. Add a new Selected article to the next available subpage.
  2. Update "max=" to new total for its {{Random portal component}} on the main page.

[edit]
 GA  A  FA

Only articles that fulfill the following criteria should be added to the list:

  • The subject is related to the history of Poland.
  • The article is at least of GA-class quality.

Section title

[edit]

I changed the name of the section from "selected story" to "from Polish history". However, the Polish cochineal now stands out. I was thinking about making a new section for non-history articles, but how would we call it? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 06:51, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea with the section title. As for Polish cochineal, it's primarily a biology article, but its History section says much about the insect's historical importance for Polish economy, so I thought it might fit in. I wanted to show there's more to Polish history than wars and atrocities. — Kpalion(talk) 16:19, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Glad you started adding new blurbs. Please remember to update "max=" to new total for the {{Random portal component}} on the portal page. Otherwise the new additions will not show on there. — Kpalion(talk) 16:38, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
