Prizmmy☆ (プリズミー☆) (Prizmmy☆ = abbreviation of the words "Prism With Me" ) was a Girls Dance and Vocal Unit originally under Avex Entertainment then in 2014 were under the management of Avex Pictures. They debuted on 16 March 2012 with the song "Everybody's Gonna Be Happy", with fictionalized versions of themselves headlining the animated series Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future to promote their activities. They disbanded in 31 March 2017.
History
Prism Mates
Prizmmy☆ was previously a trio, consisting of Mia Kusakabe, Reina Kubo and Karin Takahashi, called Prism☆Mates. They were later joined by Ayami Sema who got in by winning Kiratto☆Entertainment Challenge Contest 2011 SUMMER Pretty Rhythm Award. In 2012, they debuted as "Prizmmy☆" with debut song "Everybody's Gonna Be Happy" which is also the 4th ending theme song for anime series Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream.
Debut
They were well known for singing most of the theme songs for Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream, Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future, Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live and PriPara anime television series. In Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future the main characters of the anime are illustrated after the members of Prizmmy☆.
Sister Group: Prism Mates
Prizmmy☆ had a sister group called Prism☆Mates who had also accompanied them in hosting "Pretty Rhythm Studio" in Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future and Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live anime series. Prism☆Mates' members include of : Mirei, Yuka, Momona, Airi and Sana. Previous/Graduated members Hina, Runa, Kanon, Natsu. Prizmmy☆ and Prism☆Mates together make another unit called "Prism☆Box".
Graduations
On 30 March 2014 Ayami graduated from Prizmmy☆ and it was later announced on 5 April 2014, that Prism☆Mates' member Hina will continue activities as a member of Prizmmy☆ replacing Ayami and thus graduating from Prism☆Mates.
On 2 May 2015, Prism☆Mates' member Runa graduated leaving the group.
Later, a sub unit of Prism☆Mates named "プリズム☆アイドル研究生" ( Pronounced = Purizumu☆aidoru kenkyūsei, meaning = Prism☆Idol Research Student ) consisting of members Airi, Momona, Mirei and Yuka debuted with the song "アイドルキンリョク Lesson GO!" (Idol Kinryoku Lesson GO!) which is also an ending theme song for PriPara anime television series.
Disbandment
On 9 December 2016 Prizmmy announced on their Showroom that they will disband on March 2017.
Prism Mates will also cease their activities but it's still unknown whether they will continue solo activities.
They released their last album called "Prizmmy☆ THE BEST!" on 22 February 2017.
There are a total of 29 songs altogether split into 2 parts. 7 of these songs will be new and the rest are pre-released.
In the CD+DVD version there are 29 songs and 14 music videos (All music videos).
Their last live was held on 30 March and was called "Hello My Future".
Members
Mia, Reina, Ayami and Karin appeared in the anime series "Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future"
Mia and Reina were students of Avex Artist Academy.
Karin and Ayami were students of Avex Dance Master.
On 8 February 2014 Ayami announced in AKIBA's Culture Theatre that she would be graduating on 31 March 2014 during their GROW UP LIVE HYPER in Odaiba Venus Fort,
On 4 April 2014 they announced Hina would join Prizmmy.

Prism☆Box
Prism☆Box (Prism☆Box) was a Japanese girl group under the management of Avex Works. This group was the combination of both Prizmmy☆ and Prism☆Mates. Their debut song Rainbow x Rainbow, was split into 4 different categories. Dance (Reina, Runa, Karin), Singing (Yuka, Natsu, Momona (didn't appear in the MV except for intro.)), Chibicco (Kanon, Mirei) and Model (Mia, Hina, Ayami).
