Pseudomonas argentinensis is a yellow-pigmented, Gram-negative, rod-shaped, nonspore-forming, strictly aerobic organism bacterium that infects the rhizospheres of Chloris ciliata and Pappophorum caespitosum, both grasses native to the Chaco region (Cordoba) of Argentina.[1]
