Qaranqu Rural District (Persian: دهستان قرانقو) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Hashtrud County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 11,929, in 2,551 families.[2] The rural district has 40 villages.
