Quebec Phenix

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Yosemiter (talk | contribs) at 20:02, 7 August 2018 (filling in ref. The team certainly needs more refs as there are no refs that even state where they played home games. But based on the vague statement in the 2007 ''Toronto Star'', there were two teams in Montreal and none listed as QC. Only new articles (that probably referred to WP in the first place) have this team as a past QC team.). The Quebec Phenix (French: Phénix du Québec) was a professional women's ice hockey team in the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL). The team played its home games in Montréal. The team had a wide range of young talent, some from Université Laval, high schools, and others.[1] Former head coach Christian Lefebvre said in a radio interview [citation needed] that the team typically drew crowds of only about 50 supporters and that sponsors were hard to find. The team closed in 2008 after just one season in CWHL.
