Quidi Vidi Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Quidi Vidi village, a neighbourhood of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
Founded in 1996 by David Rees and David Fong , Quidi Vidi Brewing Company is the third-largest brewer in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, after Labatt and Molson. Its products are available province-wide in liquor stores, corner stores and on draft.
The names of Quidi Vidi's "Northern Lager" and "Northern Light" beers were changed in 2005 after legal action by Northern Breweries. They were rebranded as "QV" and "QV Light". Quidi Vidi produces a core lineup of seven beer and releases various seasonal beer throughout the year.
Quidi Vidi's most well known and most popular brand is Iceberg Lager, a 4.5% North American style lager brewed from water collected from icebergs that are commonly found off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador.
