Rajaratha in Kannada and Rajaratham in Telugu (English: Royal Chariot)[2][3] is a 2018 Indian romantic comedy film written and directed by Anup Bhandari who also composed the film's music. It stars Nirup Bhandari and Avantika Shetty in the lead roles in their second collaboration with the director after the success of RangiTaranga. The film is narrated by Puneeth Rajkumar and Rana Daggubati in the Kannada and Telugu versions respectively.[4] Arya, who made his debut in Kannada cinema with the film,[5] features in a supporting role alongside P. Ravishankar and Sruthi Hariharan. While the film score is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, the soundtrack is composed by Anup Bhandari. The cinematography is by William David.

The first look of the film was released in the social media by the team on 2 October 2017.[6] The film was released on March 23, 2018[7][8] Major portion of the filming is located in and around Mysuru.The Movie Got Mixed To Negative Reviews.

Controversy

During Rajaratha promotions, director Anup Bhandari made derogatory comments against audiences who didn't wish to watch Rajaratha film in a video and later issued apology after Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) condemned his comments.[9][10]
