Rajni Patil (5 December 1958) is an Indian National Congress politician.She is a Member of Parliament, representing Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha the upper house of Indian Parliament .She was elected in a Rajya Sabha bye election in 2013 after the death of Vilasrao Deshmukh .[1][2][3] She was earlier elected to the Lok Sabha from Beed in 1996 as a Candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party but she later joined the Indian National Congress [4]
