Rajnigandha Shekhawat is popular singer from India, known for Sufi-rock / Bollywood / Vintage /Folk/ classics singing.[1][2] Rajnigandha Shekhawat is a folk-sufi singer, originally from Rajasthan. She has sung in over 400 concerts where she sings songs ranging from vintage classics of Shamshad Begum and Noor Jahan to rare folk songs to the Sufi poetry of Amir Khusro and Baba Bulleh Shah. Her debut film as playback singer is Anurag Kashyap's Monsoon Shootout for Raghav Sachar; the film has been screened at Cannes and many other international festivals and will release in India in a few months.[3] She's also sung in the OST of the upcoming film Margarita, with a Straw for Mikey McCleary. She surrounds herself with classical music, having completed her visharad and Masters in Hindustani music. Rajnigandha's favourite music is Bollywood film music.[4]

  • DNA woman of substance of Rajasthan.She has been awarded the title of Rajasthan Sangeet Ratna by a local NGO and included in DNA newspapers 25 Women of Substance of Rajasthan.
  • She also won the popular vote as Best Female at Hungama's Artist Aloud awards 2 years ago.
