Ratbek hadji Nysanbayev (Kazakh: Рәтбек қажы Нысанбайұлы) was the first Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan, controversially appointed by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. He served as mufti from January 12, 1990 to June 24, 2000.^[1]
