Reed, Oklahoma is a small unincorporated community located along State Highway 9 in Greer County, Oklahoma, United States. The post office opened September 16, 1892. The ZIP Code is 73554. Reed was said to have been named for the first postmaster, John Reed Graham.

Famous residents

The Ponder brothers, Major League Baseball player Charles Elmer Ponder and World War I Flying Ace William Thomas Ponder, were born in Reed and were of Cherokee descent.
