Registered Locksmith (RL) is a trade qualification awarded to members of the Associated Locksmiths of America.

This is the first of four designations available from ALOA.

Unlike other ALOA certifications, the RL designation does not require a test.[citation needed] It can be awarded based on education alone and, in the past, has been awarded for experience alone.
