Remko Bicentini (born 20 February 1968) is a Dutch-Curaçaoan football manager and former professional player. He currently coaches the Curaçao national side, having previously been as an assistant manager with the national team[5] and headcoach of Dutch amateur side SV AWC.

Playing career

Bicentini, who played as a central defender, began his professional career in the Netherlands with NEC, making 24 appearances in the 1986–87 season. He later played for a number of amateur teams including De Treffers, SJN, Nijmeegse Boys, VV Germania [nl],[6] SV AWC[4] and DIO '30 [nl].

Managerial career

He became head coach of the Netherlands Antilles national side in 2009.

In September 2016, he became coach of the Curacao national team, replacing Patrick Kluivert[7] after serving time as assistant to Kluivert.[8]

Personal life

His father is former NEC player Moises Bicentini. Bicentini is founder and chairman of the Dutch Caribbean Stars.[1]
