Retallack is a ghost town near the head of the Kaslo River, in the Kootenays region of British Columbia.[1] It is located in the pass between Kaslo and New Denver. Retallack was founded in the 1800s. The town is also called Whitewater. J. Eaton recovered almost a million dollars in ore from the area. Retallack was built to support the mining operation located there. The town slowly went into decline and today is deserted.[2]
