Rhododendron impeditum (粉紫杜鹃) is a rhododendron species native to southwestern Sichuan and northwest Yunnan in China, where it grows at altitudes of 2500–4600 meters. It is a shrub that grows to 0.8 m in height, with leaves that are ovate, elliptic or broadly elliptic to oblong, 0.5–1.4 by 0.3–0.6 cm in size. Flowers are purple, violet, or rose-lavender, or rarely white.
