Roel Reiné (born 15 July 1970 in Eindhoven) is a Los Angeles-based Dutch film director. Occasionally he uses the alias John Rebel (Bear, Wolf Town). His production company is called Rebel Film.

Movie career

Death Race 2

In 2010, the Dutch filmmaker directed Death Race 2,[1] an official prequel to Paul W.S. Anderson's Death Race.[2] In January 2010 Luke Goss was cast to portray the driver, Frankenstein[3] and South African model Tanit Phoenix was cast as Katrina Banks.[4]

Wolf Town

Roel Reiné also produced the Indie horror film Wolf Town, directed by Paul Hart-Wilden[5] and stars Levi Fiehler, Max Adler, Josh Kelly and Alicia Ziegler.[6]

The Man with the Iron Fists 2

Roel Reiné took over Directing duties for the sequel so the Film's Writer and Star RZA could focus more on the screenplay and acting as the Film's lead.
