Rompicherla is a village and Mandal head quarter in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located approximately 63 kilometers from the district headquarters, Guntur.

As of 2011 census The total population of Rompicherla Mandal is 62060, Male population is 31160 and Female population is 30900. Total number of Households in Rompicherla village 2545. Village total population is 10131. Male population is 5116 and Female population is 5015.

The village is connected by road from Guntur via Narasaraopet . APSRTC is running buses from Narasaraopet to Muppalla via Rompicherla. The nearest railway station to Rompicherla is Narasaraopet railway station. A State Highway from Narketpally, Nalgonda District, Telangana to Addanki, Prakasham district, Andhra Pradesh is going through Rompicherla.

A new Railway line between Nadikudi Junction and Sri Kalahasti will be a big advantage as a station will be setup at Rompicherla.
