Roton is a major independent Romanian record label established in 1994.[2]

The company has around 100 employees, having offices in Bucharest, Iași, Cluj and Timișoara. The turnover in 2007 was €4 million.[3] In 2011, Roton Records entered into a licensing deal with Warner Music Group for some of its most popular artists and their catalogue.[4] In October 2015, Warner Music and Roton extended their distribution deal to include Latin America.[5]

Roton represents several well-known Romanian artists, such as Iris, Holograf, Proconsul, Akcent, Inna, Mihai Trăistariu and Alexandra Stan.[3]
