Roy Edan (Hebrew: רועי עידן‎; 1977/1978 – 7 October 2023) was an Israeli photojournalist working for Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth who was killed by Hamas terrorists in the Kfar Aza massacre.[1]

Death

On 7 October 2023, his home at Kfar Aza was infiltrated by terrorists. Edan's wife was shot dead and their 3-year-old daughter was kidnapped and taken to the Gaza Strip. Two older children were found hidden in the closet.[2] Edan was considered missing until his body was identified ten days later. He was 45.[3]
