Roy Lucas is an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Coach Roy Lucas was the head college football coach for the West Virginia Tech Golden Bears located in Montgomery, West Virginia. He held that position for 7 seasons, from 1976 until 1982. His coaching record at West Virginia Tech was 26 wins, 35 losses and 4 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #5 at West Virginia Tech in total wins and #11 at the school in winning percentage (.431).[2] He is a brother of Jerry Lucas.
