Rozkoš Lake (Czech: Vodní nádrž Rozkoš) - is a reservoir located in the northern part of the Czech Republic, located close to the town of Česká Skalice.[1] The reservoir is feed by the Rovenský potok, Rozkoš and a 2,34 km in length canal from the Úpa.[2] The building of the dam of the reservoir began in 1951, however after one year of construction further works were halted. The construction of the dam was resumed in 1964. The dam's construction was complete in 1969. The reservoir functions as a flood preventative, retention basin, recreational and for the breeding of fish.[3]
