The rufous-capped babbler (Stachyridopsis ruficeps) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family.

Rufous-capped babbler

Ranging across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, it is found in Bhutan, Hong Kong, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
