Run the Tide is a 2016 drama film directed by Soham Mehta, and written by Rajiv Shah. It stars Taylor Lautner, Constance Zimmer, Kenny Johnson and Johanna Braddy. The film was produced by Pilar Savone and 1821 Pictures.

Plot

A young man, Reymund Hightower (Lautner), has been caring for his ten-year-old brother ever since his mother was sent to prison for drug-related charges six years prior. Their mother is released, supposedly recovered and determined to rebuild their family. Reymund, trying to protect his brother, kidnaps him and heads for the California coast. Making a desperate break for the life they have always wanted, the boys find themselves closely pursued by their mother - and her ex-husband.[1]
