Ryland "Taffy" Milner (September 24, 1909 – June 16, 1999) was the ninth head football coach for the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats located in Maryville, Missouri and he held that position for twenty-one seasons, from 1937 until 1957. His career coaching record at Northwest Missouri State was 92 wins, 61 losses, and 13 ties. This ranks him second at Northwest Missouri State in total wins and fourth at Northwest Missouri State in winning percentage.[1]
