S. P. Udayakumar

S. P. Udayakumar is a teacher, writer and anti-nuclear activist from Tamil Nadu, India.[1][2] He is the convenor of the People's Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE), which is protesting against the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant project.[3]

He worked as a professor at Monmouth University, New Jersey, United States.[4]

He joined Aam Aadmi Party in March 2014, and unsuccessfully fought general elections from the Kanyakumari Lok Sabha constituency.[5] He quit the party in October 2014.[6]
