The Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA)[1] is the regulatory body charged with regulating deposit‑taking Sacco Societies (Savings and Credit Cooperatives Societies) in Kenya. Its mandate allows it to regulate and supervise sacco societies, licence sacco societies, levy contributions in accordance with the Sacco Societies Act of 2008.
