Saeeda Imtiaz (Urdu: سعیدہ امتیاز) is a Pakistani model and actress.[1] Imtiaz has worked in an upcoming film Kaptaan: The Making of a Legend, a film on the life of Pakistani politician and former cricketer Imran Khan.[2][3][4]

Early life

She went to Walt Whitman High School in Long Island, New York graduating in 2003[5] and then Stony Brook University and got a degree in Psychology. She was also the president of Club D.S.A at Stony Brook University.[citation needed]

Career

Saeeda organized chand raat melas, concerts and gigs during her university days, off campus and on campus with the help of her family.[citation needed] She organized it with Josh, Jimmy Attre & Roxen.

Kaptaan the movie

In 2012, Saeeda appeared in a bilingual Pakistani movie Kaptaan[6] that has been shot in Pakistan which is based on the biography of Imran Khan. Kaptaan is story of Imran Khan's life post the cricket world cup victory 1992. It follows the events that have shaped up his life. Saeeda is playing the role of Jemima Khan, ex-wife of Imran Khan.[7] Music from the film has received very positive response,[8] which features music of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Noori. Saeeda is in news for commenting about Imran Khan's latest book in an interview with The Times of India.[9]

Wujood

Saeeda Imtiaz will feature in Wujood (lit: Existence), an upcoming Pakistani revenge thriller film to be directed and produced by Javed Sheikh. It will star Danish Taimoor and Saeeda Imtiaz[10] in leading roles, while also featuring Aditi Singh from India,[11] Nadeem Baig, Shahid, Ali Saleem and Javed Sheikh himself. The film is slated for a release on Eid al-Adha, September 2018. It will be produced by Javed Sheikh.[12]

Recently Saeeda appeared as guest actor in ARY Digital sitcom Timmy G Reloaded in the episode of 18 February 2012.[13]
