Sahukara (Kannada: ಸಾಹುಕಾರ) is a 2004 Indian Kannada romantic drama film directed by Om Prakash Rao and produced by K. Manju. The film stars V. Ravichandran, Rambha, Shashikumar and Anu Prabhakar in the lead roles.[1] Veteran actor Vishnuvardhan made a special appearance in the film.[2] The film was a remake of the Malayalam film Thenmavin Kombath.[3]

The film released on 24 September 2004 to generally positive reviews from critics[4] and successfully screened for about 7 weeks in cinema halls.

Production

Vishnuvardhan said he accepted to work in the film "out of inspiration from Rajnikanth".[5]

Soundtrack

The music of the film was composed by Rajesh Ramanath. However, it is to be noted that all the songs in the soundtrack are directly by composer A. R. Rahman from Thenmavin Kombath's Tamil remake Muthu.[3]
