  • Saint Cyril the Philosopher, believed to have co-invented the Glagolitic alphabet (the first Slavic alphabet) and translated the Bible into Old Church Slavonic
  • Saint Cyril of Alexandria (c. 376 – 444), Patriarch of Alexandria
  • Saint Cyril of Jerusalem (c. 313 – 386), theologian and bishop
  • Saint Cyril of Turaw (1130 – 1182), Belarusian bishop and Orthodox saint
  • Saint Kerrill Christian missionary in what is now east County Galway
