Emir Kobilić, better known as Salvatore Ganacci, (born July 29, 1986) is a Bosnian-born Swedish DJ, record producer and a co-founder of the THOR radio show on Sveriges Radio.

His friends nicknamed him Salvatore Ganacci, after his long hair got in the way of his opponents while playing football.[1]

Early life

Kobilic was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina but moved to and now resides in Stockholm, Sweden.[1]

Career

In 2010, Kobilic began studying at Musikmakarna in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.[2]

In 2014, Ganacci released his first collaboration with Jillionaire of Major Lazer. Their debut single "Fresh", released through Universal Music Group, became an instant club hit.[3]

In 2015, Ganacci signed a record deal with Sebastian Ingrosso's Refune Music label.[4] He also released a video for "money in my mattress".[5]

In 2017, Ganacci performed at Tomorrowland Festival.[6]

In 2018, Ganacci performed at Ultra Music Festival[7] and the main stage of Tomorrowland Festival[8] with a remarked prestation, due to a strong show personality.[9]
