Sam Fender is a British male singer-songwriter, was named one of BBC Sound of 2018[3] alongside other emerging artists such as Sigrid and Khalid.[1] His single "Play God" was featured in the FIFA 19 video game.[4]

Music style

His music is mainly about political and social issues. He is inspired by George Orwell's book Nineteen Eighty-Four.[1]

Family

He is from a musical family.[5][6] His father Alan and brother Liam are both singer-songwriters,[1][5] Liam also plays drums and piano.[1]
