Sangham is a 1988 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Joshiy and produced by K Rajagopal. The film stars Mammootty, Thilakan, Parvathy and Saritha in lead roles. The film had musical score by Shyam.[1][2][3]

Plot

The film is about a spoiled brat Kuttapayi (Mammootty) and his young friends. Kuttapayi is the son of Rappayi (Thilakan), a rich miser. Kuttapayi make all sorts of trouble in his village. One related to a snake boat/dragon boat race made him and his friends to exile to neighboring state. Kuttapayi has a illegitimate daughter which is unknown to him, she is taken care by his father through a servant. The servant (Balan K Nair) takes money and land and promises to Rappayi to care of Kuttapayi's daughter. The servant uses the money and land for his own growth and pushes Kuttapayi's illegitimate wife to prostitution. When matters get hairy the servant tries to sell Kuttapayi's daughter too to prostitution. Kuttapayi comes to know about the situation and saves her and loses her mother in the fiery process.
