Sarah Archer is an American writer and curator based in Philadelphia, United States.
Archer is a graduate of Bard Graduate Center in the Hudson Valley, New York,[1] she has her MA, 2006, in Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture. She left her position as the director of Greenwich House Pottery[2] to join the Philadelphia Art Alliance as senior curator in 2011. Archer previously worked at the Museum of Art and Design MAD [3] in New York City as a curatorial assistant. Her articles have appeared in the Journal of Modern Craft,[4] American Craft,[5] Artnet,[6] Ceramics: Art and Perception,[7] Hand/Eye,[8] Modern Magazine[9] and The Huffington Post.[10] She recently guest-curated Bright Future: New Designs in Glass at the Pratt Manhattan Gallery[11] (February 10 through May 5, 2012)."[12]
