Sayed Makhdoom Raheen

Sayed Makhdoom Raheen (born 1946 in Kabul[1]) (Persian: سید مخدوم رهین) is a Persian author and an Afghan politician. He was Afghanistan's ambassador in India before becoming the cultural minister for second time. Until March 2015 he was the Afghan Minister of Information and Culture.

Life

During the Afghanistan war against the Soviet Union and communist government of Kabul, he was head of Radio Kabul-e-Azad (free Kabul).
