Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Ali, or SMSA, is a co-educational school located in Kuala Belait, Brunei. In 2013, it had a student population of 1500, 700 of which were Pre-U students. The current principal is Dyg Pg Hjh Zeiniun Binti Pg Mudin.

History

Construction of the school was completed on November 30, 1993. When the school was established on May 9, 1994, it was known as Sekolah Menengah Kampong Pandan and catered for only secondary students. The school was renamed to Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Ali on August 3, 1996.

In 1997, a sixth form centre was created within the school. This allowed students to pursue their pre-university studies in Kuala Belait, whereas all previous sixth form education in Brunei had been offered only in Bandar Seri Begawan. The school offers PMB, BGCE "O", and "A" level courses.
