Scone High School is a government high school, located in the town of Scone, New South Wales. Currently around 500 students from Scone, Aberdeen, Murrurundi and surrounding areas like Denman attend the school.

Well known for its agricultural programme, Scone High School has been rewarded with success at the Royal Easter Show at Sydney for many years.

Rugby League at Scone High School

Scone High has also been successful in sports competitions, mainly rugby league. Former Newcastle, St. Helens and Sharks winger Darren Albert; former Newcastle, Parramatta Wests Tigers and current Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks hooker John Morris; current Eels player Todd Lowrie as well as controversial Canberra Raiders forward Dane Tilse have attended the school.[citation needed]

The school is also well regarded for its agriculture, sports and disciplinary programmes.
