Scott Brothers in Christchurch, New Zealand had an engineering works and iron foundry that supplied 11 steam tank locomotives to the New Zealand Government Railways in 1874. They are the only New Zealand manufacturer apart from A & G Price of Thames to have supplied the NZR with steam locomotives, and they manufactured viaducts for the North Island Main Trunk and Midland Railway. Their Atlas Works in Manchester Street, Christchurch also manufactured coal kitchen ranges. The company is still in operation, under the current name of Scott Engineering Ltd.
