Shadow Projects was a television company, most well-known for making preschool television series. Founded by Mitchell Kriegman[1] in 1986, the company created and produced Bear in the Big Blue House, The Book of Pooh and Breakfast with Bear for Playhouse Disney, It's a Big Big World and Between the Lions for PBS Kids.

History

Shadow Projects was founded in 1986 by Mitchell Kriegman. Creating shows like Bear in the Big Blue House, The Book of Pooh, and others like Breakfast with Bear, Between the Lions, and It's a Big Big World. Its logo an mascot is a barking dog silhouette. On September 28, 2009, Disney announced that Shadow Projects will shut down on November 6, 2009.
