Shantaram Govind Athavale (Marathi: शांताराम गोविंद आठवले) (21 January 1910 - 2 May 1975) was a Marathi film director, lyricist, and author.[1]

He won the 3rd National Film Awards in 1955 for directing the movie Shevgyachya Shenga.
