Shri Krishna Vijayamu (English: Victory of Lord Krishna) is a 1971 Telugu Mythological film, produced by M. S. Reddy on Kaumudi Art Pictures banner and directed by Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. Starring N. T. Rama Rao, Jayalalitha in the lead roles and music composed by Pendyala Nageswara Rao. The film recorded as flop at the box office.

Plot

The film begins with Lord Krishna (N. T. Rama Rao) sending his brother Satyaki (Ramakrishna) as a mediator to Kalayavana (S. V. Ranga Rao) with a vessel as a gift containing a snake, which indicates dealing with Krishna is playing with a snake. Kalayavana sends return gift to Krishna, the same vessel, where the snake has been killed by ants replying that snake can be killed by ants. But when they open the vessel the snake is alive and Krishna warns them that no one can touch him. Listening to this Kalayavana gets ready for the war when Sage Narada (Kanta Rao) arrives and tells him that he can find Krishna alone at Raivatakadri hills. Kalayavana reaches there, Krishna cleverly takes him into a cave where Kalayavana kicks a saint Muchikunda (Dhulipala) who is in penance, mistaking him as Krishna. In that angry Muchikunda burns him into ashes with his looks. Knowing about his brother’s death Mahodara (again S. V. Ranga Rao) burns with avenge but Narada says that this is not a right time and he requires finesse. Hence Mahodora starts a penance for Lord Siva (Rajanala). On the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birthday, his eight wives present eight gems when Narada arrives and stirs a quarrel by telling that it would be more beautiful if there is one more gem, making his intention clear that Krishna can have one more wife. Lord Krishna assures that his wish will be fulfilled soon. Meanwhile, Mahodara successfully completes his penance and takes boon from Lord Siva that he will not get the death by anyone or any weapon used by others. Lord Siva propitiates him by saying that he will not die with any weapon used by others. Mahodara wins over the entire universe and there is no end for his atrocities. Listening to miseries of victims Goddess Saraswathi (Rama Prabha) asks Lord Brahma (Prabhakar Reddy) when will be the end to this anarchy and he replies that the time is imminent. Brahma creates a beautiful girl called Vasundhara (Jayalalitha) and keeps a ring to her hand by which she will look like a girl to women and a statue to men, except for her fiancé. After her marriage, if any other men try to remove her ring it transforms into a weapon and kills him. After that, Brahma calls Narada and asks him to be her foster father for few days. Once Mahodara sees Vasundhara, loves her and wants to marry her. Knowing about this Narada takes Vasundhara to Dwaraka and asks Rukmini (Devika) to safeguard her for few days when she is hesitating he tells the secret of the ring and she agrees. At the same time, Krishna & Satyabhama (Jamuna) return after defeating Narakasura. Sri Krishna can see Vasundhara because he is her fiance and ring comes into his hands. Everyday Krishna silently meets Vasundhara and they both of them love each other. Knowing about this Satyabhama becomes furious, takes Vasundhara and keeps her in prison. Parallelly, on the provocation of Mahodara Pundarika Vasudeva (Nagabhushanam) keeps Kuchela & his family in his custody to eliminate Krishna. Krishna moves to their rescue and safeguards them by eliminating Pundarika Vasudeva. Taking this as an opportunity Mahodara attacks Dwaraka and grabs Vasundhara when Krishna returns back comes to know regarding what has happened. Eventually, Mahodara is making marriage arrangements with Vasundhara. Krishna reaches there as a Brahmin cleverly marries Vasundhara and keeps the ring back to her finger. Angered Mahodara throws the ring away which turns into a weapon and kills him because it is a weapon used by himself. Finally, Krishna reaches Dwaraka along with Vasundhara and the movie ends with a happy note.
