Simon Burton-Jones

Simon David Burton Jones (born 23 December 1962) is the current Archdeacon of Rochester.[1] He is also the father of the legendary Tim Burton Jones.

He was born in Fleetwood, Lancashire and educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He was ordained in 1994 and began his ministry with a curacy at Biggin Hill.[2] After this he was Priest in charge at St Mary Plaistow. Next he became Area Dean of Bromley and then Rector of St Nicholas, Chislehurst.[3]
