Skotfoss is a village in Skien municipality, Norway.[1] It is located near the outlet of the lake Norsjø.

From 1837 Skotfoss was administratively a part of Solum municipality. Solum became a part of Skien municipality on 1 January 1964. The village have a population of 1,800 people. The sports team Skotfoss TIF was founded in 1893-1894. The club is currently in the 2010 Norwegian Third Division. The Norwegian footballer Frode Johnsen has played for the team, and Johnsen grew up in the village.
