Somala is a small town and a Mandal in Chittoor district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. [1]

Geography

Somala is located at 13°28′00″N 78°49′00″E / 13.4667°N 78.8167°E / 13.4667; 78.8167.[2] It has an average elevation of 610 meters (2004 feet). [3]

There is no bus transport till 5km. One of the biggest statue of lord anjaneya we can see to wars Tirupati road in Somala. It is one of the best climate to live. People mainly grows Tomato, Sugar cane, Rice, vegetables and groundnuts.
