A song named Misty Mountains is sung by Richard Armitage and The dwarven company in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The song, performed by Armitage, The dwarven cast and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, was taken from Tolkien's novel The Hobbit and replicated in the film. The song also appears on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey film soundtrack.

As Tolkien left no title for the song, Misty Mountains is sometimes referred to as "The Dwarf Song", "Thorin's Song" or "Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold".
