Song of the Worms is a poem by Canadian poet Margaret Atwood.[1]

It was recently [2] read on an English television station by Lia Williams in part of a program to expand knowledge of poems.

Usage in GCSE

This poem was used in the GCSE syllabus between 2001 and 2002. It was considered as "metaphysical poetry" by one exam board.

This poem is also used by many English teachers for year 10 (4th form) students to practice their poetry analyzing skills.[citation needed]
