South Dakota Highway 407 (SD 407) is a short state highway in Oglala Lakota County in southwestern South Dakota. Along with Nebraska Highway 87 (N-87), SD 407 serves as a connector route between U.S. Route 18 (US 18) in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and US 20 in Rushville, Nebraska.

Route description

SD 407 begins as N-87 crosses the state line south of Pine Ridge. The highway travels north towards Pine Ridge. It ends at an intersection with US 18 in Pine Ridge.[2] On average, SD 407 is driven by over 4700 vehicles per day.[1]
